Elected to the Parliament of Singapore in 2015, Darryl David is presently serving his third term as an MP and is Chairman of the Government Parliamentary Committee (GPC) for Education.

In his professional role, Darryl is the founder and principal consultant of CICA Associates, a leadership and professional development consultancy. He has more than 20 years of corporate leadership experience, where he served as CEO of one of Singapore’s premier international schools St Joseph’s Institution International (SJII), and was Deputy Director at Temasek Polytechnic’s School of Design, Singapore’s top design institution.

He spent 22 years in the media and communications industry and was noted for his work as a sportscaster and presenter for regional broadcaster ESPN Star Sports and Singapore’s MediaCorp TV.

Darryl has led or been a key part of government delegations and corporate teams to Australia, Bhutan, Canada, China, Japan, Mexico, Uganda and most of South-East Asia.

Darryl loves diving, walking, movies and reading. He is married with two children and considers being a Dad one of life’s most compelling journeys.
