RSVP YOUR ATTENDANCE

Date & Time : 23rd December 2012, 2pm to 5pm
Venue of event : Library@Esplanade

Certificates for Song Improvement Workshops will be given out to ALL WORKSHOP PAST PARTICIPANTS on this day of Year-End Showcase.
You need to RSVP your attendance so as to confirm your certificate collection.
You will also need to RSVP in order to secure a VIP pass for food redemption at the café!
Food is catered brunch buffet-style. VIP passes are limited to the first 50 people therefore, RSVP early!

THIS IS A MINI COMPETITION!

Song Improvement Year-End Showcase is for Past Participants of workshops to:

• See where you stand; how much have you improved?
• Gather, network & possibly forge collaboration with your workshop buddies!
• Stand a chance to go home with $300 cash prize!

SHOW US WHAT YOU GOT!

Register by sending in:

• Registration form as attached
• Your initial song submitted for one of the workshop(s)
• Your improved song (which may or may not be the same song, as long as you worked on improving your craft)
• Lyrics, chords and mp3 of your songs

WHAT TO EXPECT?
12 entries will be selected to perform and compete at the year-end showcase.
All performers are expected to perform “Live”, either unplugged or minus-1.

• TOP 3 awards: GOLD, SILVER & BRONZE for the 3 best entries
• Certificate of Participation (For all workshop past participants)
• Improvement Award for participant showing the most improvement
• Best Performance Award for having the best showmanship
• Token of appreciation for the year-end showcase performers

Submission Deadline : 18th November 2012
Panel-experts/ judges : Kevin Mathews, Don Richmond & Leon Foo & Bevlyn Khoo
Evaluation Criteria : The evaluation will be scored as per the attached scoring sheet.

Preliminary evaluation : 20th November to 7th December
– TOP 12 entries will be informed via phone call/email

Final evaluation : On the day of Year-End Showcase, 23rd December, Sunday
2.00pm to 5.00pm, Library@Esplanade
– Your scores are determined by the judges as well as the audience!
– Audiences will be given three votes each so… showmanship is required!
– Friends and supporters are welcome!

Last but not least, the event will be photographed and videoed!
Therefore, please look your best and don’t be shy!
