1 Apr 2005 - COMPASS Members to sign Supplementary Deed of Assignment

To keep pace with the technological advancement in this digital era, the Copyright Act of Singapore has been amended with effect from 1st January 2005 to extend rights in the digital environment - "Right of Communication to the public".

To enable COMPASS to protect the copyright interests of members more effectively and efficiently, members are required to sign a Supplementary Deed of Assignment which encompasses the above-mentioned right.

The Supplementary Deed will be sent to all members in batches who are required to endorse, in the presence of a witness, and return the signed copy to the society by 8 April 2005.

Members who have not received the said deed by 5 April may contact us at membership@compass.org.sg.
